Did Pierre Thoretton‘s 2010 Yves Saint Laurent documentary L’Amour Fou leave you wanting more? Well, it looks like you’ll be able to get your YSL fix again (and again) in the near future.
Director Jalil Lespert is working on a fictional retelling of YSL’s love affair with Pierre Bergé, WWD reports. Bergé gave Lespert his blessing, though no other info has been made available. We’re super curious to see who is cast in this thing!
And if that isn’t enough for you, Bertrand Bonello is also making a YSL biopic, although one that focuses on the brand’s early days, as opposed to the relationship between the business and life partners. He, however, has apparently not been granted permission by Bergé.
