The CFDA awards have wrapped: The Olsens took home the big prize for womenswear for the Row (they very adorably thanked each other); Seth Meyers wore Marc Jacobs’ Met ball outfit (and dared to make a Galliano joke); Garance Dore had folks tearing up when she accepted her award by telling the audience to “take your fun very seriously…[and] maybe one day you will start a revolution”; and John Waters proved the perfect person to pick up awards for both Comme des Garçons‘ Rei Kawakubo (“I wear Comme des Garcons to be fashionable in private…We know how great her clothes look but others just think we’re poor”) and Johnny Depp (“He has fashion balls…he was a pirate Pepe Le Pew way before I met him”). And the industry recognized its finest talents this year.

Everyone Don Their Preppy Finest For The Polo Classic

Saturday was a fine day to break out the bubbly and watch handsome men on horses thwack balls around, don’t you think? It seems quite a few celebs were on our wavelength as well, as they trekked out to New Jersey’s Liberty State Park for the 2012 Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic, sporting many-a wide-brimmed hat and summery sundress. I had an AMAZING time with my friends & the champagne!

Shading themselves under Veuve’s distinctive marigold parasols were catwalk stars Jessica Stam in head-to-toe Thom Browne, Hilary Rhoda in ladylike Fendi,and Dree Hemingway in white lace and aYankees cap. Stealing the show, however, was the fanciest toddler of them all: Rachel Zoe‘s one-year-old son Skyler Berman, in a pinstripe suit and teeny-tiny fedora, natch.
