It looks like we’re going to get to see Carine Roitfeld‘s new editorial venture much sooner than we thought. Although the official first issue won’t hit newsstands until September, she’s sticking “Issue 0″–which looks like this mockup that was shown to advertisers published by WWD–into the July issue of V as a supplement (CR and V share a publisher).
That will be on newsstands next Thursday, but The Cut got an exclusive behind the scenes video of a shoot with Roitfeld, photographer Sebastian Faena (not a Condé exclusive) and several models slinking around like cats, wearing matching wigs and, in honor of the issue’s “Obsession” theme, staring at themselves in mirrored floors.
It may not quite be the real thing, but it’s good enough for us. You might say we’re “obsessed.”
