A New September Issue? Mademoiselle Carine Roitfeld Stars In A Documentary

If the September Issue didn't make your top shelf of fashion flicks (next to your guilty pleasure: Clueless), here's a new documentary to compete with Anna Wintour. Her French counterpart, Carine Roitfeld, will be starring in the new film, Mademoiselle C, chronicling the Editor-in-Chief as she launches the first issue of CR Fashion Book this September (hmmm, coincidence?). Shooting is still in progress, but we're already imagining a few hair-raising and high-pressure clips as deadline for the launch of the publication draws near.

Under the direction of Fabien Constant, Roitfeld has been shadowed for the past months (in and out of the office). It's also reported that the film crew has interviewed other big names, such as Tom Ford, Karl Lagerfeld, and Donatella Versace, to speak on the editrix and this upcoming magazine's premiere.

While the big elephant in the room keeps asking if this is just a new version of The September Issue, I'm more curious to get the insider's view on Roitfeld's life and the publication I've been eager to read since its initial announcement.
