Prada To Design Italian Sailing Team’s Uniforms

It’s time for another design house to step up as uniform creators for their home country. Luxury house Prada just announced that they will be the official sponsor of the Italian National Sailing team.

Prada has inked an agreement with Federazione Italiana Vela (the Italian Sailing Federation) to sponsor the Italian national sailing team at the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The Prada brand will appear on the uniforms worn by the athletes and technical staff of the Olympic sailing team, and it will also be displayed on the hulls and sails ofall competing boats and of all team support vessels, in all the regattas of the 2012 season.
