The best of the red carpet looks, straight from the 2012 Golden Globe Awards. Early on, the arrivals hit a high note with bevy of striking — and somewhat surprising — ensembles: Claire Danes — who later won best actress in a television series for her work in Homeland — wore a graphic, backless J. Mendell; and Piper Perabo turned heads in voluminous Theyskens' Theory. From there, the gorgeous dresses just kept coming — with lots of designers turning up multiple times. There was Vera Wang for both Sophia Vergara and Madeleine Stowe, Prada for Zooey Deschanel and Frida Pinto, Lanvin for Emma Stone and Natalie Portman, and Dior for Charlize Theron and Mila Kunis. There was also plenty of Zac Posen, which was worn not only by Reese Witherspoon, but also by Elle Macpherson.
