Kiehl's Celebrates 160 Years With Limited Edition Heritage Collection

a

160 years ago, Kiehl's opened as an old-world apothecary in what is now New York's East Village. From that one pharmacy, Kiehl's Since 1851 grew as a company devoted to community, customer service, and best-selling formulas. In honor of their 160th anniversary, Kiehl's has introduced a limited edition collection of its four long-time fan favorites, housed in old-style apothecary packaging.
Available in the New York City Flagship Store and Kiehl's stores worldwide September 2011 until December 2011.

KIEHL'S HERITAGE COLLECTION

Original Musk Oil, $38.50
This cult unisex classic was was rumored to have been created in the '20s by a relative of the Kiehl's founding family—a Russian prince! The oil was officially introduced to Kiehl's customers in 1963, believed to be one of the first musk scents offered to the public.
Ultra Facial Moisturizer, $21.50
Kiehl's first offered their Ultra Facial Moisturizer in the early '60s, and it still remains one of their must-have products (and a favorite among makeup artists!). The lightweight and silky texture is suitable for both normal to dry and normal to oil skin types.
Ultra Facial Cream, $38.50
Kiehl's first provided samples of their Ultra Facial Cream, a richer version of their Ultra Facial Moisturizer, for explorers of the "Greenland First Ascents" expedition in 2005. The ice-covered glaciers on the island provided the perfect spot to test skin care to the limit.
Calendula Toner, $34.50
Kiehl's Calendula toner was derived from the Marigold flower to gently tone oily prone skin. First bottled in the '60s, the flowers are still hand-picked and placed in each bottle.
