Haider Ackermnn's thoughts on personal Style Blogs

The always mysterious and shy Haider Ackermann feels street style bloggers are taking attention away from runway shows.
The infamous "homeless chic" look, to which many fashionistas aspire, has been sweeping through the fashion industry. Ackermann is confused by this phenomenon, having recently told WWD: "When you go to fashion shows and you see all those people outside taking pictures of each other — the street is almost getting more important than what’s happening inside the space. I don’t get it. I like to meet people in the street, but I think it’s taking things to proportions which are absurd." Do you agree with Ackermann?

  1. Inspiration has to start from somewhere. Whether it be on the street, or on the runway, designers and people within this industry must always have their eyes open, always looking for the next inspiring focus of the season to come. When I walk down the streets of NYC, I always notice what everyone is wearing, what the window displays are speaking, this is what is important to stay on top! Maybe he needs to open his eyes as well...Just saying...
