Rompers, A Must Have for Summer!

Rompers have quickly become my summer obsession! I believe rompers are a great piece to have in any fashionista's wardrobe! In fact, I have two or three and have my eye on more for Summer 2011!

What exactly is a romper and where did it come from? A romper is a one-piece garment that is loose fitting with shorter legs. Rompers were first introduced on the runways in 2006. Many fashion forecasters were not sure if they would last, as they are usually worn by children, but they have become necessities for the warmer months.

Rompers look great on just about any body type! Here are a few tips to take your look from great to amazing!

Tip #1: Add a belt at your waist to accentuate your curves or pick a romper with a cinched waist.

Try this one on for size. Not only is it on trend with the ruffles and cinched waist, this color is perfect for Summer!

Tip #2: Go for a print! Prints are always eye-catching but chose a print that works for your body type. An understated print might be a better look.

This simple pattern is a great example!

Tip #3:
Thighs are definitely out, so be sure to choose a shoe that will make those thighs pop! Avoid thick ankle straps that can make you look unflattering.

These sandals are sure to make those gams look enticing!

And last but not least, a friendly reminder. Rompers are short, so make sure the goods are covered, especially when you bend over ladies! If you remember these tips, add a sexy sandal and accessorize, your romper look will be perfection!
