Daphne Guinness Gets Dressed For Met Gala In Barneys' Windows

I was fortunate enough to see Daphne changing for the Met Ball and thought I would share!

The socialite, McQueen muse and now, performance artist, took to the windows of Barney’s new Madison Avenue store for a performance to mark the beginning of a six-week installation that will showcase her personal collection of McQueen items, that she purchased from the estate of Isabella Blow upon the latter's death.
A crowd gathered to see the fashion-maverick getting red-carpet ready in a stark white and perpex cubed display space, changing from a mesh black and gold embellished stream-line jumpsuit (complete with veil) to a dramatic feathered gown, in a display that was pure theatre – just as McQueen would have wanted.
