Textbook: Kate Middleton

Fans of the Tumblr blog Textbook, take note: Fashionista has teamed up with the blog’s mastermind, John Jannuzzi, to create storyboards for our industry’s style stars.
Unless you’ve been living under an extremely heavy rock for the past few months (do you need help?), then you know that there’s a royal wedding tomorrow. Everybody and their mom (mum?) is buzzing about the nuptials of Prince William and Princess-in-waiting Kate Middleton, and we’re no exception. Of course, the fashion set is preoccupied with one thing: the dress. It’s been rumored to be made of unicorn feathers (they exist), down from golden geese and dragon silk–truly a fairytale princess gown. OK, maybe not, but with the recent denial by Sophie Cranston’s camp and Bruce Oldfield’s camp, it’s anybody’s guess as to the designer. Personally, I’m hoping for Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen but everybody from Alice Temperley to Daniella Helayel has been thrown in the mix. And so, I give you Kate Middleton. Ta-da.
