The holidays are officially upon us. Do you have a makeup plan yet? You probably have a few more holiday events to attend, and of course there’s the night to end all nights coming up–New Year’s eve. Or maybe you just feel like getting dramatically made up for a random Wednesday night. Perfect.

On how to do a festive look without always going the smoky eye route:

“Be light-handed when you’re doing makeup. It’s not about the quantity, it’s about the quality and how you apply it. Less is more!”

“I have a real love affair with lipstick – you could try a bold fuschia or pop of pink. It has such a strong impact on the face. You feel immediately elegant and chic and it gives the face a lot of strength. It gives you more power. And, if you don’t like it, take it off and try something else. Makeup is not a commitment!”
