Tyra Banks Introduces “Type F” March 15 2011

Supermodel Tyra Banks has already proven herself to be a bonafide media mogul, and now she’s growing her empire on the web. Banks will be launching a new fashion and beauty website called TypeF.com, on March 15th. What does the “F” stand for? Tyra told People StyleWatch, “I connect to fierce–that’s what it means to me,” says Banks. “But it allows for women to define themselves. It can mean fashionable, fashion-forward, feisty.”

Here’s Tyra’s welcome message on the site:

Hey there!

It’s time for a fashion and beauty revolution! I’m so excited and proud to introduce you to typeF.com. Beauty is not one size, one shade, one style, one color – YOU are beauty and typeF.com is the beginning of a movement that starts with and for YOU. It’s a destination that continues my mission to expand the definition of beauty. My goal is for typeF to be THE place where you will find your ultimate style confidence created for you, with you and by others like you.

We are counting down the minutes to March 15th when typeF.com will be revealed to the world. To help get you as excited as I am, we are giving you the chance to win amazing prizes including a trip to New York, to have your very own personalized shopping experience!
