WWD reports the Couture Council will honor Monsieur Valentino a week before Spring '12 fashion Week in September 2011.Valentino Garavani fully retired January 2008 from the world of Haute Couture fashion.
After 2 season his successor Alessandra Facchinetti has since left the design house after successding Valentino himself, the collection is currently designed by long time accessory designers maria Grazia Chiuri & Pier Paolo Piccioli (Photos after the jump):
